Biography

Richard “Rick” Britton demonstrates his work ethic and philosophy of teamwork at the office on a daily basis. Rick spent his childhood in the Venice, Florida area, and his hard work and love of sports, particularly baseball, led him to a spot on the Florida Gators Baseball Team.

After graduating college with honors, Rick began his career in the business world while pursuing an MBA at the University of North Florida. His legal career started as a student at Florida Coastal School of Law, which later led him to employment with the Jacksonville Utilities Authority (JEA) before moving into private practice.

Rick pursued his passion to help others when he and his wife, Heicha, traveled on mission trips to Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Costa Rica. He remains active in the community by serving as a respite parent for SeaMark Ranch, an organization helping children to overcome the trauma caused by family crises.
An avid golfer, Rick enjoys spending time with Heicha and his daughter, Abby.
